This elegant, refined mare is by the awesome thoroughbred stallion Lauries Crusador xx, who has also made a name for himself as a broodmare sire. Lauries Crusador xx was named Hanoverian Stallion of the Year in 2006. His breeding career has been a success story from the very start. According to the 2008 Hanoverian Stallion Yearbook Lauries Crusador has sired 144 State Premium mares, 49 licensed sons and more than 640 competition horses, several of them competing up to Grand Prix level in dressage.

At her inspection she received 8s for her head, saddle position and overall type, and 7s on all other scores. She has had two beautiful colts by Weltmeyer, two fillies by Hampton (by His Highness/Rotspon), and a 2011 filly by Celle's young Don Schufro son 'Dannebrog' so far.

Lauriefee's dam "Palais de Dance" by Pik Bube I was a very successful competition horse (winning up to 3rd level in dressage with an amateur rider and placing in the ribbons over fences as well.), before starting her second "career" as a broodmare at age 13. She has been accepted into the German Equestrian Federation's Elite Studbook (FN Leistungsstutbuch), Section B (show results) and Section D (productivity).

Both Lauriefee, her dam and all her offspring so far have been routinely x-rayed and found free of OCD.
