Our Hanoverian breeding program here at Gut Neuensteden has been founded on two mare lines, which our family has built up over generations ...
Mare line of Schluppera (born. 1908) Hanoverian Line No. 1190815

One
of the very old prominent Hanoverian mare lines is that of Lusenka.
This line produced many superb competition horses, such as Falada M
(Forrest xx - Grande) who competed in dressage at the Olympics in Athens
and Neil Ishoy's current Grand Prix horse LoneStar, as well as many
licensed breeding stallions. e.g. Argwohn
I (Warendorf State Stud) and Argwohn II (Celle State Stud), Fisherman's
Friend (Remi
Stud Australia),
Lewinski (Moritzburg
State Stud), Glacier
(Saxony), Wesselton
River Blue (Hanover), Pianist ( Rhineland), Weltadel
(Bavaria), Donnerwelt
(USA), Loredes
(Sweden) and Sarkozy
(Schockemoehle)

The
most successful dressage horse bred on our farm to date is Falada
M (by Forrest xx - Grande), who brought success to France
at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens for rider Karen
Tebar, also competing in the European Championships in Hagen in 2005
and the World Equestrian Games in Aachen in 2006. Falada's full brother “Faletto”and his rider Katharina Bethmann have also celebrated Grand Prix victories. Other
examples of dressage horses winning through Prix St.Georges level at
dressage include: Wellington, Lena by Libanon, and Lauritz by Lauries
Crusador. |

Mare line of Scherentje (born 1899) Hanoverian Line No. 1189908
Another proven old Hanoverian mare line, this line has also produced many successful competition horses and licensed stallions, among them Galapagos (Celle State Stud), Santorini (Hannover, Kanada), Cointreau (Schwaiganger State Stud) Mares from this line currently active in our breeding program are:
(more information
can be found in Claus Schridde's: Hanoverian Mare LInes (Line

At
the stallion licensing in Verden in 2006 we had another young stallion
approved. He is by Sunlight xx out of our SPS mare Weimara by Wolkenstein
II - Lauries Crusador xx and was sold to the U.S. at the auction following
the licensing. "Soleil Q" is now owned by Suzanne Quarles and
is standing at Some Day Soon Farm in Mt. Airy, MD. In 2008 he was USDF reserve champion for 4 and 5 year old stallion and geldings at Material. He is currently in training with Fred Webber. |
